Baby Time!

C is officially an uncle!!

We were so happy to receive news late last night

that his sister who lives alllll

the way in Missoula, Montana

had delivered a happy and healthy

baby GIRL!

The gender was a secret from everyone

except God so being a girl is BIG surprise.

Everyone was predicting a boy.

Miss Madison Winters

6 pounds 11 ounces.

SO perfect.

Your Uncle and ALMOST Aunt cannot wait to meet you sweet girl!

Not to mention the other half that have already been relocated to the attic.

The "by the door pile" is for C to trash.

The other is a "keep in the attic for moving purposes one day/someday".

Am I nuts for keeping?

I traveled up the South Carolina coast this weekend

to celebrate this pretty lady's bachelorette weekend!

Her soon to be hubby is one of C's groomsmen, and C is one of his!

Received their invitation in the mail yesterday!

The last one we will ever receive addressed to

Mr. Hodges and Miss Vaughn. EEK!

LOVE getting gifts in the mail everyday!

My dreams of a fully-set, formal dining room table

are finally coming together.

8 down, 4 to go!

Still working on my napkin-folding skills.

Got this bad boy yesterday.

If that doesn't make this wedding real

then I don't know what will!

Lastly, how funny is this gift from a lady at my office?!?

C and I will be married on the same day as the

infamous Cooper River Bridge Run! LOVE THIS!

sorry for the countdown.

My brain is glued on April 6th.

Shout out to some of bloggie girls today.

Charlotte is getting married THIS weekend!!

I may be as excited for her as she is herself.

Eek!!!

I ran into Megan and her hunny

at the Probate Court this afternoon.

Small world, huh?

More like small Charleston, really.

All four of us were there filling out applications

four our

marriage licenses!!!!!

Double eek.

Megan gets married next weekend.

Then...

its our turn!

25 days

Twenty-five days to go,

and I almost completely run out of

"pre-wedding" thank you notes.

I started this engagement off with two whole boxes.

One box of folded notes

with my maiden name monogram

sVm

on the front

and one box of correspondence cards

with just my name

shannon

across the top.

Only three correspondence card remain,

and I cannot wait to start using my married name thank you notes.

Thanks to my future MIL

I have FOUR boxes of these beauties!

A picutre-heavy post thanks to Instagram

to bring you up to speed

on my life the last couple of weeks.

A few weeks ago, Bestie Al and I assembled wedding invites
while C cooked us a yummy supper.

Thanks to Al's cutie bf's cutie mother for the festive drinkware. :)

Then, a few days later, C and I started getting our first replies in the mail!

In the meantime, I began preparing for bridal portraits

with trips to the tanning bed and having my ring cleaned.

I found the perfect frame and stand for my portrait's reception display.

I wrote my final thank you notes on my sVm notes.

And on a completely unrelated note, I am thinking of selling some jewels.
